Lima Links Impact Strategy

Every year we conduct a Farmer Impact Study to assess how well we are doing in solving the challenges we set out to solve. Here is a snapshot of how Lima Links is tackling the SDGs:

SDG 1. No Poverty

We eliminate the barriers to diverse, small-scale farm growth and grow their farms by giving farmers access to market.

SDG 2. Zero hunger.

We provide farmers with security and confidence in selling what they produce by linking them with trusted agents and buyers.

SDG 5. Gender Equality

Women, men and young farmers alike with products, prices and selling opportunities.

SDG 8. Decent work and economic growth.

To provide farmers with technologies; open the way to make more sales transactions between more market actors.

SDG 9. Industry Innovation & Infrastructure

We use our big farm data to support new product and service innovations for farm communities and to share that information with industry stakeholders to support ag. infrastructure development.

SDG 10. Reduced inequalities.

Our Farmers use the market prices they view on Lima Links to compare prices across markets and to negotiate harder with farm-gate traders and market agents. The farmer may not always get the price s/he wants, however, knowing what market rates are immediately provides a more level playing field for farmers.

SDG 13. Climate action.

Provide farmers with access to quality inputs through trusted input suppliers that provide farm and climate friendly agricultural inputs.

SDG 17. Partnerships for the goals.

We want as many farmers as possible to be trained and benefit from Lima Links.
